Hands on phonics craft that helps students review Long O o_e, oa and ow! This supplemental phonics sorting activity provides great review and can be completed whole group or small group. It is appropriate for first or second grade students practicing this skill. Great practice with cutting and glue. Students look at the pictures to sort each of the long o pictures on the ice cream scoop.
Great to use for phonics review to review spelling patterns.
Craft directions:
1) Color and cut around the three ice cream scoops.
2) Color and cut out the cone. Then, glue the cone to the three ice cream scoops.
3) Color the pictures in the sprinkles. Cut out each sprinkle and glue them to the correct scoop with its correct long o spelling
