Making Inferences with Taylor Swift

This can be used to help your students get more practice with making inferences. They are introduced to question stems that are typical of inferencing questions. Then the lyrics to Taylor Swifts song "We are never getting back together" are used, and students analyze the lyrics, making inferences along the way. After discussing hidden meanings behind the lines, they can watch the music video and gather more evidence to support their inferences. I love pulling in 'pop-culture' with skills in the classroom!
