Native American Vocabulary Fill In

Use this activity to help students get better at using context clues. Students take the vocabulary words: archaeologists, ancient, artifact, effigy, domesticate, Native Americans, natural resources, nomadic, oral history, prehistoric, powwow, wigwam, into a passage telling about how we learn about and what we have learned about prehistoric people. Fill in the blank activities are an excellent way to teach children to use context clues.
