Description
Try this engaging digital review activity after teaching your students the basics of Newton’s three Laws of Motion! Students will read descriptions of 16 different scenarios regarding motion and they will choose which of Newton's Laws is being described. This is a great formative assessment tool and it provides engaging fun for your students!
To do this activity, you will share a Google Sheets link with your students through your Google Classroom (select “Make a Copy for Each Student” while creating the Assignment) that will allow them to Make A Copy of their own Abracadabra Pixel Art activity. For each motion scenario, students will choose their answer from the drop-down menu in the answer column. If the answer is correct, color will magically appear in the cells on the right-hand side of the spreadsheet. If the answer is incorrect, the color will not appear and the student will know that the answer is wrong. This Abracadabra Pixel Art is an octopus wearing glasses!
This is a self-checking activity, so have students show you their finished picture to check that they are successfully identifying Newton's Laws of Motion! I have also included a link to the Answer Key for the activity, which you will also be able to add to your Drive.
