Open and closed syllable sort practice! FUN way to practice and review syllables with this sorting activity.

12 Ice cream dishes in all

Teacher: Print and Cut (laminate if you would like)

Student: Find the syllables for each word on the ice cream dish. Next, place the ice cream scoops with syllables on top of the dish. Record your work on the recording worksheet. Finally, students will write "o" for open OR "cl" for closed in the cherry to record if the syllable is open or closed.
