This is a great graphic organizer that really helps students to lay out their thinking in order to visually see their ideas on paper.
Description
I created these scaffolded organizers to use with my students who were struggling with organizing opinion writing for the 5th grade ReadyGen program tasks, however they can be used with any students who need help planning and organizing opinion writing using text evidence as support. The organizers are PDFs and then I have also included an editable opinion writing checklist in Microsoft Excel
** Update 1/20/16 as per request I have included editable power point slides of the PDF however, if you do not download the following Kimberly Geswein fonts it will not look correct on your computer "Love Ya Like a Sister" "A Year Without Rain" "Second Chances solid" "Architects Daughter" "Cold Coffee" "Ray of Sunshine"
