What educators are saying

My students love this resource. I have seen their PSF knowledge increase since using this resource. The particularly like the Simon Says game and the hoping game.
The kids in my RtI group had a blast building towers while practicing their phoneme segmentation skills. Great, fun product!

Description

These interventions are designed to be use 1-on-1 or in small groups. They are great for Rt I, literacy rotations, and reading groups. I cut, laminate, and keep the activities in their own plastic envelope and keep them grouped according to skill (PSF, NWF, LNF, etc.). Single sheet interventions can be kept in a binder! They are great to have on hand for last minute activities, volunteer activities and time fillers.

I have included black and white versions of all pages for easy printing!

Pages 5 & 6: Activity Cards
Page 7 & 8: “See & Break” Students go through each line of pictures and break apart the words.
Page 9 & 10: “Sound Strips” Students choose a strip and break the pictures into that many sounds. Keep these on a ring for easy use!
Page 11: “Build It” Students break the word into sounds and then build that number in linking cubes in the black box.
Page 12-14: “Onset & Rime Puzzles” Students break the initial sound from the rime.
Page 15 & 16: “Stack It Up” Students place the picture cards into the correct column.
Pages 17-19: “Take Me Home” Students sort the sounds into the correct homes.
