Persuasive Speech + Rubric

Persuasive speech + rubric is intended for students to write and deliver a speech designed to influence beliefs, attitudes, values, and/or behaviors. Included in this bundle are instructions, an outline, and rubrics (classic/list) that can be used for students as they are preparing for their speech. I require students to complete the outline before being allowed to speak in class. The assignment also requires sources, but could be changed as needed to fit your classroom. This is the same assignment that I use in my own classroom.

Can be printed or put on an LMS for students to complete on Google Doc.

All of this is editable so that you can make it fit your classroom. I have personally used it for students in grades 9-12. The current time requirement is 5-7 minutes, but could be easily changed to fit your student needs.
