Phases of the moon can be a hard concept to explain to students, but add Oreos and its lots of fun! My students loved during those as they go to learn about the moon, but also of course at the end eat some Oreos!
Following a reading that included the moon, I used this quick activity as a fun Friday exercise. They loved it!
Description
Children draw how the moon looks during each of the 8 phases. If the worksheet is printed out in A3 it is the perfect size for representing the 8 phases of the moon using oreos. The children love this activity, especially getting to eat the oreos when they're finished!
