Phonics Phoneme Sound Cards

Looking for flash cards or sound wall cards to practice with your students? Here is a diverse set of cards appropriate for kindergarten, first, second, or third grade students. Use these cards as flash cards to practice phonemes of the alphabet A-Z, digraphs, diphthongs, vowel teams, double consonants, r-controlled vowels, wild old words, nk and ng endings, and more! These are great for whole group instruction as part of a phonics routine to practice and master each sound.

HOW TO USE:

AS FLASH CARDS

Teacher gathers appropriate cards for students. Show each card as the student should say the sound and say the picture word. For example, if you show the EE card, student should say "EE says /e/ queen."

AS SOUND WALL

Find a spot in your classroom where students can easy see and have access to the cards. Place them on the board as you teach each sound. This is a great resource for students during reading, writing, phonics instruction, etc.
