Plan Your Own Field Trip - Project Based Learning Project - PBL Activity

This project based learning experience is great for the weeks leading up to a field trip, or a wonderful way to wrap up the school year. Students are provided with a series of tasks meant to guide them in planning their own field trip which can be based on an actual trip, or their dream field trip.

Included are:

-A research portion

-Four writing tasks (persuasive, procedural, expository, and narrative)

-Three math tasks (place value & operations, elapsed time, and measurement)

-Mapping task

-A poster project to tie it all together and show off their learning

-A rubric for the project
