What educators are saying

Excellent resource and my class really enjoyed it! Wonderful resource and very easy to use! Students enjoyed this resource and it helped develop standards.
This was a great resource to help reinforce multiplication facts practice. I have a lot of sports-loving kids in my class- and this was definitely engaging to them!

Description

These coloring pages are not your typical color by number activity. In this resource, children will work on their times tables and use the “answer” to create patterns and designs in the correct space on their image.

No two pages will ever be the same. I have created this product using my popular “pop art” images to help you introduce, teach or review the times tables with your students in a unique way that will engage your students beyond just the multiplication times tables.

Each page reviews a different times table. For example the volleyball reviews the 3’s. There are 8 total pages reviewing 2’s through 12’s.

Sports Included:

  • Soccer/football
  • Baseball/Softball
  • Golf
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Hockey
  • Basketball
  • Football (American)

Unique final pages.

Even though each child will use the same general pattern as their answer, they will always do them in their way and make their own unique color choices at the end. This will create original pieces of artwork that allow children to put their interests into their work.

Time Saver!

I have provided visual and written steps and a final example, so you don’t have to take the time to make one. Project these instructions or print the example pages for your students (or sub), and you are all set.

Extension: Writing.

I have included writing prompts so that when students finish early, they can write about their favorite sports (or not so favorite).

I have included a few writing prompts that I created and a blank page with my designs that you can use to write in whatever prompt you want the children to answer.

Or better yet, have them create writing prompts for one another.
