Description
Printable US Coin Sorting Mats for practice identifying and differentiating U.S. pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters! Use these coin sorting mats for morning work, math centers, assessments, and small group activities!
Ideas for Use
1. For a small group activity, place a bowl of coins in the middle of each table. Using a small plastic cup, students take a scoop of coins out of the bowl and place them next to their mat to sort. Once they finish sorting the coins they can dump them back into the bowl and scoop up another set of coins to sort.
2. Presort the coins in plastic baggies and place in a basket. Each student chooses a bag of coins to sort on their coin sorting mat. When they are done sorting each bag, students return the bag of coins to the the basket, then pick another bag to sort.
3. Students can count out how many of each type of coin is on their mat, and how many coins there are all together.

Printing Instructions
From the print options window, select the "fit to page” option, sometimes called the "scale to fit" option. This will create a margin, and prevent the pages from being cut off during the printing process.
