Make home reading easy and fun with this Reading Across Canada booklet! Watch your students become obsessed with the map of Canada as they journey across it throughout the year, and become better readers while they're at it!

• This resource is formatted to work with most photocopy machine's fold and staple, or saddle stitch, function! Instructions are included!

Tie your home reading program into your Social Studies curriculum! Students will love learning about the map of Canada and traveling to the places they've learned about.

How to use this product:

• Choose the prizes your students will receive for reading at home - you can decide these yourself or brainstorm them with your class! Be sure to write the rewards down on the prizes page before you photocopy!
• Copy one booklet per student using the saddle stitch function on your photocopier (or fold and staple the books by hand if you prefer)
• Hang up a map of Canada in your class.
• Have students place their pins in British Columbia to start.
• Read, read, read!
• My students show me when they have reached a "moving day" as we call it, and then they move their pin to the next province or territory.
