To prep:
- Print out dice (card stock) and task cards
- Cut out foldable dice and task cards
- Fold 6 dice and reuse in small groups or partner work again and again
Skills Practiced:
- recognizing/naming coin (front and back)
- recognizing groups of coins
- counting total of similar groups of coins (5 dimes)
- counting total of different groups of coins (dimes, quarters, and nickels)
Students Will:
- roll the dice and count the amount or identify the coin (front and back images)
- play digital b boom deck by dragging and dropping one type of coin (all dimes)
- count the group of coins (mixed) - paper and Digital piggy bank task cards
