    Timing & Prep:

    Total Activity Time: BOOM decks play again and again

    Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

    To prep:

    1. Print out dice (card stock) and task cards
    2. Cut out foldable dice and task cards
    3. Fold 6 dice and reuse in small groups or partner work again and again

    Skills Practiced:

    • recognizing/naming coin (front and back)
    • recognizing groups of coins
    • counting total of similar groups of coins (5 dimes)
    • counting total of different groups of coins (dimes, quarters, and nickels)

    Students Will:

    • roll the dice and count the amount or identify the coin (front and back images)
    • play digital b boom deck by dragging and dropping one type of coin (all dimes)
    • count the group of coins (mixed) - paper and Digital piggy bank task cards
