Description

Students use trig ratios to solve for missing angles in this collaborative activity that doubles as classroom decor. Included are 30 math pennants, each asking students to find a missing angle in a right triangle using inverse trigonometry functions. Also includes an optional student answer sheet and an answer key.

Once their work is complete, students can color their pennants and hang them along a string in your classroom as colorful math classroom decor.

Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see who can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one.
