My students watch the video first. Then, I gave them the paper to fill in the blanks as they listened a second (and sometimes third time). Finally, we go over the missing words and talk about vocabulary and meaning. They often came in the next day saying the song was stuck in their head all day long. Good! My goal is for them to interact with the song rather than just passively watch and listen. You can take it a step further and have them circle or underline or color code other parts of speech after they watch!
