Science Lab Bundle

The most memorable lessons your students will remember are the interactive Science Labs. Almost all students love seeing science reactions, getting their hands dirty, and interacting with their learning.

In this bundle you will have Science Labs for the whole year. Each of the labs comes complete with step by step detailed instructions for the teacher, a lab book or lab sheets, additional activities to go with the lab and more. All you need are the lab supplies which are all common household supplies.

OVERVIEWS

EDIBLE PLANT LAB

Students will get to do 2 inquiry plant based science centers all with the theme on which plants are edible and what part of the plant they eat. They will use their plant lab books as they explore the plants. Everything you need is included in the unit, except the Vegetables which are optional as well.

MOON PHASE LAB WITH COOKIES

Students will use cream filled cookies to show the phases of the moon.

CANDY HEART SCIENCE LAB

Valentine's Day candy hearts mixed with a chemical reaction experiment is the best way to celebrate with your students. Whether your school allows a class party or not this still can be slipped in as fun for the kids, yet still learning and sticking to standards at the same time. This project can be done in one day or spread out for a few days.

The lessons and lab are all laid out and planned for you, there are even additional Valentine's Day activities included.

CANDY CANE SCIENCE LAB

Use this Candy Candy Science Experiment as an interactive Science Lesson on observing the effects of various liquids on candy canes. The experiment helps students follow the Scientific Method and is really fun to watch as it changes. Students are engaged, having fun and love the idea of using the candy. This experiment is easy to set up and most likely you have all the ingredients already at home.

SLIME SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

Slime is all the rage with kids these days. They watch YouTube videos on how to make it, they convince their parents to buy the ingredients and attempt to make it at home. Why not do a Science Experiment with slime? Teach your students the Scientific Method using an experiment on making Slime Oobleck. The students will go through each step, make slime, fill out a lab sheet and answer the question, is Oobleck a solid or liquid? The students will make observations and answer questions after. There is an additional slime recipe included.

ICEBERG SCIENCE LAB

This mini unit is a 4 day Step by Step Lesson Plan to teach students using the NGSS 2-ESS2-3 Standards. It is easy to use and interactive for the students. The students answer the question: What effect does saltwater have on icebergs? How does adding salt and ice to the water affect the temperature of the water?

• Detailed Teacher Directions for each activity: There are step by step lesson plans so that the teacher doesn't need to plan them out.
