We know when working with special needs students and so many different levels, our lesson plans can become very long, cumbersome, and take up a lot of our time! Not to mention, be 20+ pages long!! I’ve designed a template that is easy, clear and to the point, and will save you a ton of time!
This weekly template works perfectly for me and saves me so much time lesson planning. This set includes an actual copy of my lesson plans for you to use as an example. So many of these subjects and procedures stay the same each day; like lunch, recess, morning meeting, etc., so rather than typing lunch, recess, and all of these daily routines that don’t change onto a day-by-day Monday - Friday lesson plan multiple times over and over, this template saves me a ton of time AND a lot of ink. The only subjects that really change daily for my class is writing/grammar and my science, social studies, life skills block, which I rotate within the same block.
This lesson plan template includes all of my lesson plan templates I use that you can copy/paste or edit/drag/position where you would like to customize your own personalized lesson plan template.
You can easily use the templates to customize your groups for "3 groups” or "4 groups.” “Our Day at a Glance" is also included in 2 or 3 Para versions, so your aides can easily see where they should be or what they should be doing at all times throughout the day. This is also a great tool to have on hand for admin that may be asking to see how you are utilizing your aides throughout the day.
