Description

What do you get? In this download, you will receive: a carefully curated PowerPoint containing over 100 slides with information on the relevant anatomy, common sports-related injuries, and taping/wrapping skills for the lower extremity, a DRC graphic organizer for injuries, a sample pacing guide for this unit, extension and substitute teacher plans, and a bank of over 75 potential test questions and answers. This unit will take at least two weeks to cover completely. All of the diagrams, links, and tips/tricks you could need are included. You will also get FREE UPDATES FOR LIFE. I teach this course 2 times per year and am constantly adding videos and pictures and will adjust it to stay current with the EOPA/State Standards! Currently, I am working on instructional taping videos to accompany the taping/wrapping guidelines that I've included!

How can you use this in your class? The information contained in this unit plan aligns with the Precision Sports Medicine EOPA (and the State of GA Sports Medicine Standards). If you are teaching sports medicine without a background in the field, the PowerPoint has notes on each slide that make teaching the content a breeze! It is loaded with simple hacks to help students remember important details AND it is "kid friendly." It has plenty of injury pictures, injury videos, and surgical procedures to help your students stay engaged! It really requires no prep! The test questions included are a mixture of free response/scenario, multiple choice, select all that apply, and hot spot with diagrams (you will need to put the questions into your own LMS, but please do not put the exact questions word for word in a public kahoot/quizlet/quizziz).
