This is an easy stem activity for elementary teachers at any grade level. Students learn about windsocks and their use in the real world, create one incorporating patterns and colors of the rainbow, and learn about wind direction when they take it outside! There is a challenge sheet that clearly states the challenge; including the materials needed, as well as an engineering and design process recording sheet.
