Spring Sentence Builders SMARTboard - CVC, Sight Words, Blending ESL

Thank you for purchasing "Spring Sentence Builders" for the Smartboard. This is a great activity to use for Whole Group Instruction, during Word Work/Learning Stations/Daily 5, and also to use one on one with students for reinforcement and/or assessment. It is also a great tool for your ESL students!

With 18 Sentence Slides students will demonstrate and synthesize their knowledge of: sentence structure, capitalization, punctuation, comprehension, sight words, color words, CVC words, blending, and vowel patterns along with practicing blends and digraphs. Students can also locate pronouns, nouns and adjectives as well as working on pluralization, past and present tense.

Students will also develop Critical Thinking Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Reading Skills, Decoding Skills, etc.

I use Sentence Builders during my Daily 5 rotations and the kids have a BLAST playing with them!

***UPDATE*** March 2014 - I have added 2 additional slides that can be printed and used as printable worksheets for students to write down their completed sentences. One worksheet has space for students to write 3 sentences and the other worksheet has space for them to write 4 sentences per page. This is a great extension of the smartboard activity and also will allow you to check students' work. The worksheets have 5 clouds in a line for students to write one word inside each cloud to complete their written sentence.
