Stress management centers: This classroom guidance lesson gives students the opportunity to explore 9 stress management strategies! Students cycle through 9 centers and create a lift-a-flap craft to write about how they can apply the strategies. Students choose coping skills that are effective for them when experiencing stressors.
I use this lesson with 6th grade, but it is appropriate for grades 5-6. Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), handouts, craft printables, centers handouts (color and black/white) and objectives assessment checklist.
