How Can I Use the Texas History Warm Up?
Great to use as a five minute, or less, introduction each day to Texas history. Can be completed individually or the whole class to serve as a conversation topic.
- Transition to social studies by completing as a warm up
- Get students settled in your classroom by using as a bell ringer
- Review at the end of the year
I have given each student a copy, had them do it in their journals when the questions are displayed on the projector, or even just used it as a review question through conversation each day. It is up to you!
What happens if your students don't know the answers?
No problem! Use it as an opportunity to practice research skills by having students use their devices to find the answer.
