Description

This is an activity to go with the book, The Crayon Box that Talked by Shane Derolf.

The first page is a crayon outline for a student bulletin board. The students color the top and bottom of the crayon their favorite color, and draw a self-portrait in the middle.

The second page is a writing page for students to write about what makes them unique.

The third page is a quote from the book to display on the bulletin board. Bulletin board decoration ideas are limitless, but I am going to make a big crayon box out of bulletin board paper and staple all my students’ crayons on the top. I am going to put the print out of the quote in the middle of the box. Then, I am going to surround the box with the students’ writing papers.

**Since this is a Microsoft Word document, the formatting you get when you download this product might be a little off and will take some simple adjustments.** I used Curlz MT and a variety of font sizes.
