What educators are saying

I use this every year with my students after we finish the Hunger Games book and movie. It's a great resource!
We used this at the end of our Hunger Games unit and the students really enjoyed doing these activities with the movie!

Description

"The Hunger Games" Movie vs. The Novel Activities
With the availability of the DVD, showing the movie to your class and making it an enriching and educational activity has never been easier. My packet is aligned with the Common Core State Standards, so it will be easy to justify the lessons, as well. NOTE: there are at least five exercises/handouts that can be done WITHOUT watching the movie. See the free preview download for a list of all the activities.

This packet has multiple activities that involve comparisons to the book, and those in which they analyze the movie itself. Newly updated with quote analysis, inference, creative writing exercises, and discussion questions to utilize with the DVD extras. The activities correlate with the Common Core Standards.

This product IS included in The Hunger Games Unit Add-Ons from the CD, but it is NOT in the Hunger Games Teaching Unit digital download because of size limitations.
