Valentine's Day First Grade Math Centers

These NO PREP math centers are great for partner work, independent, review, etc.! There are 6 activities that focus on basic math skills for review based on the Common Core Standards. Fun graphics and easy to understand activities for all students. There are recoding sheets for each activity for accountability during independent time or you could use this as a quick reference check.

The 6 Centers Include:

Valentine's Subtraction - Simple print the cards and recording sheet. Students solve the subtraction problems and find the correct difference heart. Then, record their answer on the sheet.

Adding with Tens Frames - Students pick a card and show the addition on the tens frame by placing hearts on them. Using two different hearts for each digit. They can use make a ten strategy to help them add.

Fact Family Houses - Students use the task cards and record their 4 math sentences on the recording sheet.

Number Bonds - Use the task cards to figure out which digit is missing in the number bond.

True or False Equations - Students sort the equations based on if they are true or false. They pick 4 of each and write them on the recording sheet.

10 More 10 Less - Students find the matches for each number for 10 more and 10 less to complete each puzzle. Then, pick 6 of them to record on the recording sheet.
