*Vocabulary in Context*

This is a bundle of my three Vocabulary and Context for Grades 1-3 products. Vocabulary in Context is great for building vocabulary, applying learned vocabulary, comprehension, learning new information, and fluency! These three products each have eight passages that use real photographs to help support comprehension which is a great strategy if using for ELL's or intervention. Each product is packed with 8 non fiction reading passages, vocabulary with definitions, fill in the blank application activities, and writing prompts. Answer keys for activities included! This resource is intended for grades 1-3 but can be used for other grade levels based on reading level!

Each product includes:

8 Reading Passages-Each reading passage has 8 underlined vocabulary definitions. Word count for each reading passage is included on upper right hand corner of each passage

Vocabulary with definitions- 8 vocabulary words from each passage are defined based on how they are used in the text. These are in the form of lists with two copies per page

Fill in the Blank-There are 8 fill in the blank activities to help apply each vocabulary word. Answer keys included at end of resource!

Writing Prompts-There is one writing prompt for each story that will utilize a vocabulary word practiced from the text, as well as help to assess comprehension.

*Vocabulary Morning Work*

This vocabulary morning work has been created for the entire year. It is perfect for student word work, extra practice of learned vocabulary, or to increase language. This word work is geared towards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. It encourages short writing practice, context clues, and visual imagery to help students learn and remember words. These activities can also be used for literacy centers, homework, or however else you choose!
