Description

This content-rich activity is student-centered and interactive. There are two choices: a printable 8-station with close reading activity or a Google Ready Online Investigation activity. The readings detail the geography, achievements, social classes, leadership, economy, religion, decline, and key vocabulary for the West African Empires of Ghana, Mali, and Songhai.

The readings include pictures, charts, and maps. Questions and interactive mini-activities are underneath the reading and on a separate worksheet for teacher choice. Teacher instructions and four different activity ideas for the same Common Core readings are included.
