Use this resource to break apart your grade level standards to understand what is expected of your students. Once you as the teacher understand it, do the same with your students! This will help your students truly understand what they are learning and why. This resource also provides you an opportunity to plan out students learning targets (daily objectives), vocabulary
This sheet asks students to review a book that they read. The way that I used this was that I made a ton of copies and alphabetised my student's reviews in a binder near my class library. My students were then able to read what other students thought of a particular book before reading it! It was a fun way for students to find new books to read and a great way for students to reflect upon what they read.
