MY APPROACH TO TEACHING and to the offered UNITS on this website is to pepper the worksheets (and, optionally, the quizzes) with informational guides that serve as text-book-like how-to instructions. How the teacher puts it all together is left to that teacher's unique approach to teaching. In other words, these offerings are PROBLEM-BASED and not lesson-plan based. The difference is profound. I do not pretend to know how you should speak to your students and refuse to offer canned lesson plans

Step-by-step, similar to a few of my other documents. This has been helpful with class for a few reasons 1 - it outlines the methods for students to solve quadratics to find the zeros 2 - I decided not to use many examples on this document and stuck with generalizing the method using letters. I've found it helps students understand the relationships rather than *thinking* they understand it because they see that 9 and 81 are related but don't know why it matters for this task
