Coping Skills Toolbox (for use with lessons such as the zones of reg)
I created this activity for my younger students (K-3) who are being introduced to curriculum centered on emotional regulation (such as the zones of regulation). Included are small toolbox labels that could be used with library pockets, a toolbox template, picture coping skill strategy cards, as well as blank cards so students can customize their own tool cards for their own preferred coping skill strategies. Strategy and methodology taken from Sarah Ward M.S. CCC-SLP. Use this working with students working on improving executive functioning and social language skills! I like to use this looking at situational photos and breaking it down by S = Space (e.g. doctors office, classroom, etc)T = Time (e.g. fast paced, afternoon, winter, etc)O = Objects (e.g. water bottle = healthy, jacket = must be cold, etc)P = People (e.g. they seem to be family members, he's upset, etc)

Blue Zone Activity - When I am feeling Blue - TJU
This is a short activity sheet that helps students and workers to unpack the blue zone. This sheet prompts students to think about their triggers, feelings that describe the blue zone, blue zone body language/appearance (asking children to draw what they think they look like when they are blue) and body symptoms/ signs they are in the blue zone. This activity works well the resource Blue Zone, Peter and Rosie, and the sad, sad day.
