Description

Looking to review place value of numbers to 100 and how to decompose 2-digit numbers during the fall season? These no-prep, interactive digital math activities and printable task cards are available in black and white or color in 2 sizes: full page or 4 to a page. Pre-loaded and ready to use with Seesaw™ and Google Slides™, students review the conceptual understanding of double digit numbers. Ideal for math centers, warm-ups, homework, independent work, modeling, intervention, review, enrichment, and all academic settings such as Virtual Learning, In-Person, Asynchronous and Synchronous Learning, and Homeschool.

Information:

Printable:

  • Color: Print each page on a regular 8.5" x 11" paper and slip into a sheet protector, if desired, to set up as scoot games around the classroom. Copy a Recording Page for each student in color or black and white to easily grade with the Answer Key or let students check their own work.
  • Color-4: Print 4 task cards per page to save paper. All task cards are numbered to make it easy for recording answers on the answer sheet.
  • Black and White: Print each page on a regular 8.5" x 11" paper and slip into a sheet protector, if desired, to set up as task cards around the classroom. Copy anRecording Sheet for each student to easily check student work with the Answer Key or let students check their own work.

  • Google Classroom™: Download these files directly into your Google Classroom or Google Slides account and assign to students by clicking on the link provided. There is no need to create anything as these activities are ready to assign to students with moveable pieces and text boxes. All directions are included.

The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, and <.
Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count; explain the reasoning used.
Subtract multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 from multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 (positive or zero differences), using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used.
