    ELPA & WIDA Test Prep 1 & 2 Bundle Description:

    Are you ready for testing season? This bundle of my popular ELPA/WIDA test prep materials will get you there. Both test prep sets cover all four domains and require minimal-little prep from you. Please read the description for each pack (pack 1 and pack 2) below.

    Pack 1:

    This ELPA/WIDA Test Prep pack covers the listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. It is best suited for older ESL/ELL/EL/ELD students, grades 6-12 who are working at late beginning to intermediate proficiency.

    Contents:
    There are 2 activities for each domain

    Writing: Student will write an email to a teacher and then a claim about Fast Fashion.
    -Text about fast fashion is provided, as well as, an outline, and sentence stems

    Speaking: Students will record their written work (email response and composed claim). Students can use their devices or a school approved app.

    Listening: Students will listen to how to make popcorn video and then to a conversation.
    Youtube links are on the slides, as well as QR codes.

    Reading: Students will read a nonfiction text, History of Bubble Gum and then a dialogue between to friends choosing a movie.
    - True/False and short answer comprehension questions follow the texts

    Pack 2:

    This ELPA/WIDA Test Prep 2 pack covers the listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. It is best suited for older ESL/ELL/EL/ELD students, grades 6-12 who are working at late beginning to intermediate proficiency. This is the second test prep in the series.

    Description:

    *There are 2 activities for each domain.

    Writing: Student will write a claim about the One Chip Challenge and a how to paragraph on how to be more confident.

    -Text about Paqui's One Chip Challenge and confidence are provided, as well as, outlines and sentence stems.

    Speaking: Students will record their written work (composed claim and explanatory-how to paragraph). Students can use their devices or a school approved app.

    Listening: Students will listen to breif video about the history spicy/hot food and tips on how to be more confident.

    Youtube links are on the slides, as well as QR codes.

    - True/False questions and a gap fill activity follow the videos.

    - Answer keys are included for the activities.

    Reading: Students will read two nonfiction texts about the Paqui One Chip Challenge and another about steps to be more confident.

    - True/False and multiple choice comprehension questions follow the texts

    - Answer keys are included for the activities.

    How to use:

    This set of activities is set for emergency sub days, centers, or as enrichment.

    Who it is for:

    A special focus was placed with language frames and additional supports for older ESL/EL/ELL/ELD/EFL students to be able to work independently.

    *No babyish clip art, which makes the material suitable for teens and adult learners.
