Students are taken step-by-step through the writing process while developing an opinion essay on the given writing prompt. They begin with reading two texts on a common topic. Then, they answer constructed response questions to begin noting information found in the texts. Finally, a set of graphic organizers walk them through setting up and organizing a strong opinion essay. Draft paper and publishing paper is included for them to publish their essays on!
