This is an excellent tool to use with your beginning level ELLs. Includes a simple synopsis of all 22 chapters of the novel The Lightning Thief. Even includes a simple 5 question assessment that students can take at the end of the novel!
This is an excellent tool to use with all ELLs or Special Education students. The packet can be used to review the important events from each chapter. It could also be used as an alternative to reading the entire book.
I use this with my Entering and Emerging level ELLs rather than reading the entire novel with them. They are able to participate in classroom discussions and activities focused on the novel without having to read the entire book.
