I spent 16 years in the classroom and my last several years in the gifted and talented classroom. I made the shift from being a traditional teacher to becoming an innovative educator by recognizing that I had to take some risks and do things differently in my classroom. After spending time in the classroom serving learners, I now spend my time serving and supporting educators that are ready to implement innovative ideas like Genius Hour into their own classrooms. I love the work that I am blessed to do and I am excited to share practical and easy-to-implement resources on TPT.
I am an innovative educator that is willing to try anything that I believe will make learning meaningful for today's learners. I believe that if what we are doing isn't meaningful, it's a waste of time. Today's learners are different and they deserve a different learning experience that will make school a place that they want to be.
