I have worked as a speech language pathologist in the public schools for over 20 years. I have had the privilege of serving a variety of students with communication needs from preschool through 12th grade and working with many dedicated and talented colleagues over the years. I have also had extensive experience serving as a mentor teacher, working with instructional aides, providing staff in-services, and training and supervising high school students working as tutors and classroom aides.
Make it visual, adapt and individualize!
One of my passions is fostering peer teaching and mentoring opportunities for my students. This is why I developed a District-wide cross-age and peer tutoring program that won a regional "Striving For Excellence" award and wrote my own Peer Tutor training program.
I hold a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology, a teaching credential in Rehabilitative Services, a state license in Speech Pathology, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Thank you very much for visiting my TPT store. I truly appreciate it. If there is any way that I may assist you or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at www.teachtutors.com/contact.
