My classroom experience includes teaching History, World Geography, Psychology, English, and Creative Writing, grades 7-12. I have experience tutoring students in grades 4-12 in the following areas: SAT/ACT test prep, ESL, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, ELA and essay writing, Spanish language, and Social Studies. I'm also an attorney.
The primary belief that influences my teaching philosophy is that we are all learners throughout our lives, both in academics and beyond. I believe that critical thinking and problem solving skills are the tools that we need to become better learners and thinkers. My goal is to help students develop these crucial skills that will serve them well as lifelong learners.
