Certified Easel Seller Substitute teaching 2004 - 2007 Teaching Assistant - 2008 to 2018 - Middle School - Summa Cum Laude English/Education ~ Fifteen years of volunteer work in Education including puppeteer work.
I work to help all my students realize their individual uniqueness. I strive to help students develop positive attitudes toward learning by focusing and building on what they already know. I believe that the student is the preponderant factor in education and I work to establish a student-centered environment. I believe that children have a natural desire to learn because they are curious. My expectation for my students is that they will learn and my expectation for myself is that I will support them in that endeavor. I believe that when I teach I will also learn.
