In 2017, I moved to Georgia and started teaching fourth grade. In college, I student taught grades one through nine. However, most of my time was spent with third and sixth grade.
I prefer to engage students in their learning rather than lecture. A normal lesson starts with an introduction, then I teach for about ten minutes, the students engage in the lesson, and then we move into centers or an activity.
