TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome to my TPT! My name is Katie Jo Mayfield and I currently teach 10th grade English and Creative Writing at William Amos Hough High School (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in NC). I have taught high school English/Language Arts for ten years in NC. Previously, I taught in Winston-Salem Forsyth County for five years, and I have been with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system for the past five years. I have taught various levels of English (foundations, standard, honors, and IB/Cambridge) with grades 9-12, Creative Writing, and Introduction to Journalism.
