Learning Knows No Bounds

I have been teaching special education for 9 years. I have worked in an autism program, self contained cross categorical classroom and at private schools for student with behavioral, intellectual and physical disabilities. My current classroom contains students with emotional, behavioral and intellectual disabilities. Our focus is on coping skills and other life skills that will help my students become as independent as possible!

Social stories are excellent for any student especially students with severe disabilities. I have written many social stories and want to share them so other teachers can use them to help their students cope.

I graduated with cum laude honors from my B.S. program.

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in intervention for students with moderate to intensive with disabilities. I am currently working on my M.Ed for Special Education with a focus on low incidence disabilities.

I am very passionate about what I do. I love my job and my students. I could not imagine doing anything else!
