TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a 6-12 ELA and Social Studies teacher, Library Media Specialist, and Literacy Coach at a National Blue Ribbon School for the past 10 years, hold an M.A. in English, am a Writing Project Teacher Consultant, College Instructor, Grant Writer/Administrator, TpT Teacher Author, Blog Writer @ LiteraryWanderings.com, and a self-proclaimed Author Stalker and Travel Junkie.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am passionate about getting to know my students and helping them grow each year as readers, writers, and life-long learners. I like to offer as many hands-on, student-centered projects and learning activities as possible, and I hope that I can empower, inspire, and encourage them to continue to seek, to learn, to be thinkers, problem solvers, and accomplished writers in real world applications.
