I have taught in Pennsylvania, Texas, and South Carolina. South Carolina is where I am happy to call home! I have been teaching 4th grade Reading and Writing for 8 years. ELA is my happy place and I enjoy being able to show even struggling readers that EAL can be fun!
I enjoy mixing media when teaching ELA. Even though not all kids love to read, most love music and movies. I am able to bridge the gap to get them engaged in learning new concepts. I am transparent with expectations through examples and rubrics. The students are able to have a clear vision of the level of work they turn in.

I have taught in Pennsylvania, Texas and South Carolina. South Carolina is where I live with my husband and daughter. The products are focused to help with teaching TDAs. When I first started teaching them, I felt defeated! I came up with this process over the last few years and with the assistance of all of my students. After using the product, both teachers and students have expressed their happiness! Students feel confident in their abilities and are able to execute their TDA on the state test. Teachers experience a stress free teaching process.
