I'm currently in my 6th year of teaching and I love what I do! I have had the opportunity to teach geometry/algebra 2 every single year and I have had ALL levels of students. My school is a Title 1 school with over 80% free or reduced lunch. I spend a lot of time making sure my lessons and activities are worth while and fun for students - now I just want to share with others! Enjoy :)

I teach at a high school in Florida that is an AVID National Demonstration school, therefore, WICOR Strategies are incorporated throughout many of my lessons. We are also participants with Kagan and all of the strategies that are involved within that bundle. I have been to both AVID and Kagan summer institutes and try to embed these ideas into each and every lesson and/or activity.

Dual Bachelor's Degrees in both Secondary Education and Mathematics. Master's Degree in Secondary Education

I absolutely love making activities that will engage the students throughout the lesson. Since my school practices Kagan structures, a lot of my activities involve cooperative learning strategies.
