I've taught third, fifth, and sixth grades in the public schools and have tutored grades K-10. I'm now an ELA interventionist. I have taught since 1994.
I have a passion for teaching and making learning fun and meaningful. I enjoy seeing smiles on the sea of faces in front of me. I like to keep my students moving and engaged. I feel that if students can teach a concept, they truly understand it; therefore, I encourage students to teach other students often.

The teachers who inspired me the most were those who created a rapport with me and let me know that I was more than just a body in their classroom... I was actually someone who was special and unique...someone they truly cared about.
I'm married, have one "miracle child," and 3 "fur children" (3 cats). I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
