We are a dynamic husband and wife team that have been in education for a combined 14 years. We teach amazing students at a wonderful year round school that we have called home for the past 6 years. Justin currently teaches 4th grade but has also taught 5th grade and has been a math interventionist. Ashley currently teaches 3rd grade after teaching 3 years in 2nd. We both believe that the best way to teach students is through challenging, thought-provoking work, and experiences that they remember for a lifetime. We believe in teaching the whole child and that energy and enthusiasm are two of the keys to success in the classroom.

We believe in bringing a lot of energy and enthusiasm into our classrooms. Students learn best when they are excited about and invested in their education. We work to push children to reach beyond anything they ever believed they could achieve through appropriate, challenging learning and making the learning relevant to our students. We enjoy adding music and movement into our lessons and transforming our rooms into learning experiences that students never forget.

Justin received the nomination for Teacher of the Year for the 2014-2015 school year and placed top 3 for the county. He also received the Howard O Yates Memorial Award for outstanding work throughout this undergraduate studies Ashley has received the Employee Excellence Award for the county and was one of the school based nominees for teacher of the year for the 2015-2016 school year.
