Welcome! My name is Matt and I am an award-winning bestselling author, award-winning composer, and performing arts professor. I have published numerous books, volume chapters, and journal articles with over half a dozen international publishing companies. As a composer, I have worked with Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winners on such projects as award-winning films, international television, NYC theatre workshops, commercials, podcasts, award-winning video game prototypes, and vocal arrangements that have earned over 50 million views on YouTube. Additionally, I have ranked as a winner, finalist, and semifinalist in nearly a dozen international competitions and am a frequent judge for competitions at the regional, national, and international levels. As an arts entrepreneur, I have serviced hundreds of clients in over 30 countries spanning six continents. I am a frequent invited speaker and lecturer for international conferences, institutions, universities, and schools.
I am a passionate educator who enjoys mentoring students through the power of the arts (specifically theatre and music).
I have earned numerous awards and nominations as a writer, composer, and educator. Additionally, I have highly ranked in several national and international competitions, as well as serve as a frequent judge for national and international competitions.
