TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I first started my career at the Alaska State School for the Deaf (AKSD). Then I taught for Eagle County Schools as an itinerant Deaf Ed. teacher in Colorado. I also taught in Texas at North East ISD's Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD). I taught grades 9-12 English/Language Arts & Reading Resource classes. I am currently the Deaf Education Lead teacher for Uvalde CISD. Certifications: Texas Professional License to service Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, K-12, English/Language Arts & Reading, 7-12, American Sign Language

I provide co-teach and self-contained instruction. I also provide instructional strategies for Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
